Angus Clark: Guitar
Pemberton Roach: Lead vocals, bass
Brendan McGowan: Drums

New York City-based power-pop band TROUBLE CLUB formed in 2006 as a labor of love for guitarist Angus Clark (best known as the axe-slinger for multi-Platinum Atlantic Records outfit The Trans-Siberian Orchestra), bassist/lead vocalist Pemberton Roach (ex-Satanicide), and drummer Brendan McGowan. On The Club's debut EP, The Unbreakable Heart, the nattily attired trio delivers four sharply crafted pop songs featuring lush three part harmonies, blazing guitars and an aggressive rhythm section. Unabashedly combining such disparate elements as fleet-fingered hair metal six-string solos and squiggly new wave synthesizer lines on a single track, the group's energetic music is characterized by ultra-catchy tunes and lyrics at once subtly humorous and deeply melancholic. A high-energy live act composed of ace players, the group performs with a potent mix of understated virtuosity and boozy irreverence.
